A Beautiful Day on the Patio - Reena Sharma

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years experience in the mental health field. My speciality is working with children and adolescents and I have worked in both outpatient clinics and group home setting; starting out as an intern and advancing to a Clincial and Program Director.

I have published a workbook and facilitator manual for anger management titled Anger Management: You Do Have a Choice.

When I was a teenager, I was inspired by the television show "the Waltons" and over the years filled over twenty journals and notebooks with my written thoughts. I began to write fictional novels and have published the following:

  • Mystery in the High Country
  • Sarah Finds Love
  • 3 Fillies & a Colt
  • You Are Mine

I have a variety of interests. I love animals, especially cats and horses. I currently own a young buckskin mare that I learned to train; and a big white fluffy elderly cat who I captured as a feral kitten.

I like most sports. My favorites to watch are hockey and tennis with my favorite hockey team being the Colorado Avalanche and my favorite tennis player, Roger Federer. I enjoy playing volleyball and softball but no longer participate in active competition in those sports.

I like all genres of music, but prefer Comtemporary Christian works and classical rock. I love the mountains; grew up in Colorado and currently live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
